Human Will. All so powerful.

'to want more we have less, to want less we have more'

Inspirational pieces such as the movie, Wasteland, really dig deep into what is important to us as humans. It gives us question upon, what makes life enjoyable and satisfying.. In the movie titled above we are brought into a world unimaginable by young kids in the suburbs of the USA.. The people lived in slums and fa vela's on the outskirts of the largest landfill, in terms of volume, in the world. Their lives were dirty and hard. To think about such a life seems so awful but we must take into account human will. The men and women were a family who worked as 'pickers' all with a unique story and background. The majority did not complain about their conditions. They were so grateful for what they had and could not ask for anything else. They were fulfilled in life, which can be all so powerful. They loved one another in a friendly sense, smiles and jokes were passed around on a daily basis. Respect was given to all who worked, even if they were poor and filthy.
To look upon such a world we would seem inclined to help. To be in a place to try to 'cure' their conditions is not right. Do not give greed for you posses it. As a society 'happiness' is what we look for, human nature is what we strive. Human nature that is not polluted with greed and others that make us something, that if we were to look at ourselves out of ones body, become disgusted with.

We must take a step back from our desires from our 'wantings' and let human will carry us through life. Now that is powerful, and watching the characters in the movie achieve this gave me the uttermost respect to them. I was inspired by their individual struggles that they had fought so hard through, the passion that they showed through their work, and gratefulness once they had achieved what they had wanted for so long. They became in a sense satisfyed but at the same time resorted themselves from becoming greedy of what they could do next. They stuck to their morals. Again I have the uttermost respect.

A deed has been done...

Today my father and I took a test drive near a local coffee shop in Sudbury, MA. Karma Cafe was its title and although the sweet breads and biscuits were delicious it was not our intention to come.. It was a magnificent day together. We drove the Tesla Roadster Sport. In all actuality it surpassed any roller-coaster I have even ridden.
I do remember my first major roller-coaster ride quite vividly. I can not pinpoint the exact first, but do remember the thrills I endured.. Blood rushing to all corners of our body, our heads, feet, hands, and arms all tangling in the course of the roller-coaster's wheels following the route of the tracks below.. We did flips and unannounced turns forcing upon magnitudes of G's absorbed through our bodies. It was extremely thrilling and an experience that many human beings enjoy but there are issues with a roller-coaster ride. Taken from the fact that the hour long waits numb your legs, there are many issues.. The tracks and course become old after only a few rides, the speed is the same, the experience in all generality is the same. that's where the Tesla comes in..
The roadster gives us the freedom to roam the roads we find justified to our needs.. We are in control and not on tracks, which many people would prefer..

Today I say a deed has been done.. I have experienced the roller-coaster capabilities of the Tesla Roadster Sport. I am spoiled at the quiet ride, at the surreal acts of acceleration, the efficiency of electric power train, the absence of exhaust, and the thought that I am doing good for the world (in terms of pollution, environmental standards, along with political instability in the middle east)..

Electric is my choice of transportation and I will be spoiled. The limitations of modern combustion cars are not good enough for me, we should all agree on these terms..

Elon Musk.. the one to break the rules..

i watched a movie today that led me to think back to my interests in Tesla Motors. i have followed them for quite some time and i find their achievements as a silicon valley start-up remarkable. above is wise, and intelligent Elon Musk.. the movie i just so happened to watch was 'who killed the electric car'. it was disturbing in the sense of frustration i endured when watching. The USA should not be driving combustion vehicles, there is no need. the negatives are far greater then any positive. which in the case of the vehicles we drive today, is the big oil companies who suck our hard earned cash right out of us. we are dependent on oil, we do not have options and alternatives. The way we live today will not change overnight, our transportation needs will be with us for quite some time. biking is unreasonable for some (nonetheless it is a great option), we need a great electric vehicle. That's were TESLA plays there part. at the moment they only distribute roadsters but in 2012 the model s will arrive.. a bmw 5 series alternative.. i truly feel with the resources and impressive executive team at tesla in palo alto, California can in will push the market to electric vehicles.. i am not old enough to drive but have promised myself that i will NEVER use a gas pump at Shell and others.
i am young my addiction to foreign oil through vehicle transportation has not began and i pledge that it never will!!
btw check out tesla with the link aside.. http://www.teslamotors.com/
tell me what you think about America's future for transportation.. i would love to hear sides of the story..
